Coronavirus and the ChurchIn light of the Government guidance around non-essential contact, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York have issued advice that public worship is suspended until 2nd Dec. Church buildings are sadly closed to prevent the spread of the virus. Prayers will be said by clergy and ministers on behalf of everyone and we are currently sharing these on video via our Facebook page. At St NicholasOur Church will re-open with our Patronal festival on Sunday 6th December If you have Facebook (and if don't. then please consider getting it!) then please like the St Nicholas page. Keep an eye on this website which will continue to be regularly updated. If you have a smartphone download WhatsApp and let Father Jim know so he can add you to the St Nicholas WhatsApp group. We are all learning how to be church in these difficult times, be assured we are praying for you and if you need any support; spiritual, emotional or practical please let us know. Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer and EucharistOur services will be broadcasted live on the St Nicholas Facebook Page.
